Progression in Gallipoli is a departure from earlier games in the series: the goal is for milestones to be something extra on top of what’s already available, not a gate in front of content you’d otherwise have. That means at first launch you already have every class, weapon, and tool unlocked.
Class progression
As in Isonzo, training a class earns perks and unlocks cosmetic options along the way. Each class has its own perks, growing stronger at specific level thresholds.
Example: Bomber
| Level | Benefit |
|---|---|
| 2 | Grenade Training: stunning received reduced 34% |
| 6 | Unlock M1909 Equipment: Bomber |
| 10 | Grenade Training: stunning received reduced 50% |
| 15 | Unlock P1908 Haversack: Bomber |
| 20 | Grenade Training: stunning received reduced 75% |

Example: Officer
| Level | Benefit |
|---|---|
| 2 | Leadership Training: points bonus area +50% |
| 6 | Unlock Wide Sun Helmet |
| 10 | Leadership Training: points bonus area +75% |
| 15 | Unlock Officer’s Wolseley |
| 20 | Leadership Training: points bonus area +100% |

The level 20 reward also requires completing a Class Challenge tied to your role, nothing unreasonable if you do your part: Bomber needs to stun 20 enemies with grenades, Officer needs to kill 50 enemies using Call-ins.
Weapon progression
Brand new for the series: level up the weapon in your hands through usage to earn perks. Unlike class progression, some weapons have multiple distinct perks instead of one that grows stronger.
Leveled weapon types: rifles (3 perks), pistols (3 perks), light machine guns (3 perks), melee weapons (2 perks), grenades (2 perks). Rifles with different attachments (sights, bayonets, rifle grenades) count as separate weapons for progression: with all variants, there are 150 different weapons to level up at launch.

Example: SMLE MK.III (default)
| Level | Perk |
|---|---|
| 5 | Endurance Runner: stamina drain when sprinting -25% |
| 15 | Expert Shouldering: weapon kick -25% |
| 20 | Practiced Reload: reload speed +15% |
Example: SMLE MK.III (telescopic sights)
| Level | Perk |
|---|---|
| 5 | Gunbearer’s Arms: weapon arm fatigue -25% |
| 15 | Iron Lungs: hold breath time +33% |
| 20 | Eagle Eyed: scope usage improved 50% |
Prestige
Once you’re level 20 in a class or weapon, you can Prestige it (for classes, the Class Challenge needs to be done too). Prestiging grants a medal and an icon to show off: next to your name on the scoreboard for classes, below the weapon icon in the killfeed for weapons. Careful: Prestiging resets your level, locks your perks, and increases the XP needed to level up again.
Prestige levels, same as Isonzo: Bronze I/II/III, Silver I/II/III, Gold I/II/III, Gold ⭐.
