How to record clips with NVIDIA ShadowPlay

NVIDIA ShadowPlay overlay

Recording your matches on Isonzo and Gallipoli is handy: you can share your best moments, look back at where a push went wrong, or put together content for the community. NVIDIA ShadowPlay does all this without stealing frames from the game, since it uses the NVENC hardware encoder instead of the CPU.

Enable the overlay

Open the NVIDIA App → Settings → make sure “In-game overlay” is on. Press ALT + Z: if the overlay menu appears, you’re set.

Recording a clip (Instant Replay)

Instant Replay automatically saves the last few minutes of gameplay.

Instant Replay setting

  1. ALT + Z
  2. Instant Replay → ON
  3. Recommended length: 3–5 minutes
  4. The moment something great happens, hit ALT + F10 and the clip’s already saved.

Recording the whole match

ALT + F9 to start, ALT + F9 again to stop. Useful for post-match analysis or community recaps.

1080p 60FPS, 20–30 Mbps bitrate, game audio plus mic. On weaker PCs, lower resolution or bitrate. Clips land in Video > NVIDIA > Game Name.
